Tornado Alley Armor

Equals Texas Tech F5 Impact Record

Tornado Alley Armor        9

F-5 Tornado Debris          0

To achieve F5 certification at Texas Tech University, our shelter easily withstood four required F5 missile impacts (same as our competitors).....plus FIVE MORE IMPACTS AT OUR REQUEST!

That equals the greatest number of successful impact tests conducted on a single shelter at TTU Wind Science and Engineering Center!

Tornado Alley Armor is the smart, simple and affordable way to provide FEMA-rated severe weather protection for you, your family or your employees.

All panel, connector, and door components are formed from hot rolled 10-gauge plate steel, tested and certified exceedingly tough enough to stop airborne debris from a devastating F5 rated tornado.

Our simplistic panel design means that one panel shape, the standard 26” x 78” panel, is used to form the roof, back wall, side walls, and front wall of the safe room.

Panels are simply bolted together using Grade 8 harden steel hardware and anchored securely to your slab floor. The design is so simple, only the panels used for the door frame and door sub panel are different sizes.

This is an easy project for even a novice Do-It-Yourselfer.

All formed components come with an attractive and durable electrostatically-applied white powder coat finish.
