Bartlesville OK in Washington County Storm Shelter FEMA grant money to assist in purchasing tornado safe rooms

Some residents in Washington County, OK are receiving FEMA grant money to assist in purchasing a tornado safe room. If you live in Copan, Bartlesville, Ramona, as well as other towns in Washington County, OK you could be in luck!

Washington County Emergency Management applied for grant money from FEMA to help more homeowners afford them.

FEMA will reimburse the approved homeowner 75 percent of the storm shelter's cost, up to $2,000.

Award letters have already gone out so make sure to check your mailbox if you applied but have not heard back from the county.
